Cloudy, yellowed headlights aren’t just a cosmetic problem – they cut down how much light actually reaches the road. We polish the lens back to clarity and finish with an 8-Year Ceramic Coating so it stays that way.
Modern headlight lenses aren’t glass – they’re polycarbonate, and they leave the factory with a thin UV-protective coating on the outside. That coating is what wears out. Sun, road grit, and washer chemicals break it down over a few years, and once it’s gone the plastic underneath starts to oxidise.
That haze is the outer surface of the lens itself breaking down. It isn’t dirt and it isn’t inside the housing, which is why washing never touches it.
Restoration takes the oxidised layer off and polishes the lens back to clarity, then seals it so it doesn’t immediately start over.
Drag the handle across the photo – or just tap where you want the line. You can still see the masking tape from the restoration on the paint in the before shot.
